Who We Are

For over a decade, Nox Art Square has been a thriving center for music and arts education in Brussels. Our distinguished faculty consists of accomplished musicians and artists who have graduated from prestigious conservatories and remain active performers on the international stage. We offer regular lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, providing a supportive and inspiring environment where students can explore their artistic passions. In addition to personalized instruction, we organize masterclasses led by renowned professionals and host regular concerts, giving our students the opportunity to perform and grow as artists.

Barbara Goliasz is a versatile artist with a background from L'Ecole Supérieure des Arts de l'image LE 75. Her artistic practice spans oil painting, drawing, linocut, installations, and sculpture, with a focus on oil painting. Passionate about sharing her craft, Barbara believes in the power of art to foster social change and community development.

He is a highly successful violinist and violist, a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He has recorded 27 albums and continues to perform with renowned ensembles such as Night of the Proms, the National Orchestra of Belgium, Opera La Monnaie, Brussels Philharmonic, and Sonico. He also holds a second Master's degree in psychology, blending artistry with academic depth.

Matteo Gemolo is an Italian flautist, a doctor in music performance (Ph.D. - Cardiff University, UK), and artistic director of the Coudenberg Sound Box Fest. He teaches both baroque and modern flute. He regularly performs with leading early music ensembles such as Scherzi Musicali, Millennium Orchestra, and Orchestra Ghislieri, and records for labels like Arcana, Ricercar, and Glossa.

Julia Szproch, a Polish soprano, graduated with honors from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and studied at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under José van Dam. She has performed on prestigious stages such as La Monnaie and Opéra Bastille. She shares her passion through a holistic approach to vocal training and piano basics, focusing on body awareness, breath control, and expression.

Paloma is a Spanish violinist and dedicated music educator. She holds a degree from the Conservatory of Music of San Sebastián and a master’s in performance from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. With over five years of experience, she specializes in violin, piano, and early music education for children, creating an inspiring learning environment and nurturing the next generation of musicians.

He is an outstanding trombonist and percussionist, known for his dynamic musicianship and frequent concert performances. He completed his bachelor's degree at CSM Castellón in Spain and earned a Master of Arts from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Passionate about both performance and education, he brings energy and expertise to every stage and classroom.

Abraham, a pianist from Mexico City, began his musical training with piano and composition at an early age. He studied at the Escuela Superior de Música, the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP, completing his degrees under Mikhail Faerman. A laureate of the Oeiras International Piano Festival, he has performed across Mexico and Europe, combining his passion for music with a mission to reach diverse audiences.

A brilliant pianist and student of Daniel Blumenthal, he graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and maintains an active concert schedule. With a vast and dedicated class of students, he is a highly sought-after educator. In 2024, he became the director of Nox Art Square, bringing his expertise and vision to the school's development.

One of the finest violinists and professors in Europe, he holds a prestigious position at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and is a retired concertmaster of the La Monnaie Opera. His mentorship over the past 30 years has shaped the careers of leading musicians in Europe, and his exceptional guidance continues to inspire new generations of virtuosos.

Toni Mora, born in Madrid, began studying classical guitar at the Reina Sofía Conservatory. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar Performance and Teaching from CODARTS and a Master's in Jazz Guitar from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. An active musician, he leads his own projects, with two albums to his name and numerous recordings for other artists.

Violinist and educator, holds a degree in classical violin from the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel and a specialization in didactics. Her teaching philosophy focuses on helping students discover their unique expression through the violin, fostering joy in music. She believes music education enhances creativity and sensitivity, playing a vital role in children's development. Stefania also performs with leading orchestras.

Emanuele Mammarella is an Italian clarinettist with extensive training in Italy and Belgium. He has performed with top orchestras, including the Antwerp Symphony and Belgian National Orchestra. A passionate advocate for contemporary music, he’s premiered works by renowned composers and performed at prestigious venues like De Bijloke and the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
